Who is behind Absolute PC Care?

Hello, my name is Bri Heather Vahling, and I have lived in the Mattoon Area since 1994. After enrolling my child for full-time education, I also resumed my own research and self-study in computer technology. In April of 2007 I obtained the CompTIA A+ Certified IT Technician certification.

When was Absolute PC Care established?

The Absolute PC Care website established existence in August 2007. I provided Computer Repair Services by word-of-mouth as an A+ Certified individual while I developed the website and business. In January of 2008 I filed a DBA for Absolute PC Care, marking the birth of the business.

Why did I start Absolute PC Care?

I have always had a passion for two things - helping others, and computer technology. I also have a pressing desire to understand things. I know that when I open up a text document and push the letter "k" on the keyboard that the letter "k" will be displayed on the monitor in front of me. I want to know... -how? ... -why? ... -what makes that happen? Finding out the "how" and "why" have always been far more rewarding to me than just knowing that something works or not. This is a valuable asset for any Certified Technician.
